Railway 0 Rssc A 5
Scott 2540 Moose 2730 Grant 1110 Pete 1860 Lee 1400 Steve 2340 Colin 810 Twig 3080 Scott 1620 John 2390 Scott 4 player.
First up Scotty and Moose. Lee on with the break Red ball down white spun out the 50 and went awkward .Moose Soon off. Scott next to get them back but faired no better. Worth keeping all you scored no matter how few Lee got A bit of a lead. Plenty of goes each but Moose kept his nose in front to the end.
Game 2 Grant and Pete. Pete on and misses the white on the inside Soon off and a pattern for the night. Both players Struggling with the top and the roll it was "Not Pretty". In the end Pete on the table when it mattered 2-0.
Lee and Steve on next. Steve managing to Pot a break then miss one then pot one frustrating to say the least. Lee Having no luck apart from the odd fluked 100. Another chronic slog of a frame went our way.
Colin and captain Twig on now and you've guessed correct Twig one down one up. Colin like Lee Struggling to Pot a ball, but not a surprise given the way things were going. Twig must have got the break back half a dozen times Before Eureka both down. Don't ask us how but he Made 3k.
Last but not least Scott again and myself. Thinking I will go a bit thinner on the break but managed to miss both balls "Great ". Deja vous from everything gone previously a right old Struggle. Eventually I got the break back and piled as Much left hand side as I could. 15,30,45 one up was the call to raucous cheers from my teammates. Hit the one up Thin I told myself. Unbelievable the ball came inside. Loads more goes till thankfully the Bar dropped.
Somehow we won 5-0. Table very tricky everyone finding the break, roll and pace of the table difficult. Highlights of The evening some great laughs and Raucous friendly banter with the railway lads rounded off with a superb Chicken Curry and sides. Thanks Nathan.

The last paragraph sums up what the evening is all about for many of us, great to have all good tables but the main thing is a laugh and the company and trying to keep people interested to ensure the future of bar billiards.

I think that bigtj sums up the spirit in which bar billiards should be played perfectly
