Mop beat Dover. Would like to write a report on both games but words cannot express my thoughts. But Dover and I cracked on. Thanks to Steve for chalking but laughing for 3 games put us off a bit.

1/4 final game Boball 2 tupps 1 First game I went off with 9k and tupps played it out for 8k Second game tupps killed it off with 10k Game 3 I decided to go first and went off with a rapid 5k but hit a split fat and off tupps balls back and had a kick on second one up he was first to get them back and I thought it was game over but he chubbed his first one up and I killed the game off
Semi final game Boball 2 TJ 0 Tj missed the break early and I built a 6k lead and then finished it off with 9k played 2k Second game I went in with 5k tj balls back but off on 2k I got the balls back and added another 1800 then another thousand before coming off, tj then retrieved the balls and was going well but came off at the back and fell 1k short 7.9k played 6.9k. Thanks to tupps for coming to score for me and tj

Having played the Moulsecoomb early against Nigel must admit I also have nothing to say as I would probably have to as a Moderator ban myself. Just felt for Nigel as the circumstances were ridiculous and I felt embarrassed having won a scrappy affair in the deciding leg.

I beat Chris 2-0 at the Mariner , thanks to Chelle for scoring I then went on to the Stags Head where, after Stu C initially put his first one up behind, I went on to win 2-0, although a rapid 8k from Stu wasn’t quite enough to catch me in the second game. Had he not ventured up the top several times, could have been a different story, thanks to Chris for scoring.

In reply to KT's post on the team knockout. What can start with 7 balls, then have 5 and end up with 3 after 3 minutes. But then have 8 after a jiggle around your drawers. Nigel has the answer but it's best not to ask.

Before KT beat me in the semi-final I had beaten Joe 2-0 at the Duke of Wellie. Was far from a classic with both players finding the speed of the table tricky at times but Joe really struggled to get to grips with it and a decent break in either leg was enough for me to take the win.
Thanks to Rick for scoring the match and also to Chris for scoring the game against KT.

I lost 2-0 to Rick. Game 1 I went off with nothing, Rick good break to take the leg. Game 2, Rick went of with not a lot, a few goes each and then I got 3k before hitting the 1 up too thin and taking the peg and Rick saw the match out. Thanks to Joe for scoring.
