Windmill GG 3, Plough 2 ....... banana skin narrowly avoidedTommo 4990, Mark 3060 (I just got in at the end, had Mark kept a 2k break I would have been left with no chance)Graham 2720, Dave 3020 (Dave also lost a 2k break, Graham a couple of chances but left awkward both times)Michael 3760, Steve 3300 (Steve ahead all the way; Michael, inducted into the 'Last Chance Saloon', played it well at the end)Paul 2950, Noggs 3600 (Noggs a good 2k opener, Paul fought back to within 500 with a couple of minutes left, Noggs a good choice of shots on his last visit) So once again a Desmond manifestation ! Mick 6400, Chelsea 1040 (Teammates of 40 years hence rolled back the years, Chelsea content with the victory over Leeds)Thank you to the Plough for a pleasant evening of competitive b-bs. And the 'Samosa Kid', resplendent in green headband, marches on unbeaten !

Rssc A 3 Cricketers 2
Steve 4520 Ricky 5350 John 10700 Brian 880 Pete 4860 Mick 880 Moose 4660 Dick 4990 Twig 7110 Billy 1940
First up Sniffer and Ricky fresh from there exploits in the one dayers. Ricky on with the break But not settling off at 2k. Steve in with a chance caught Ricky up but also broke down. A bit of Top of the table play and Ricky took a 2k lead. Steve running out of time but cleared up for one Last chance. Some great play and Sniffer was almost there but broke down leaving a tricky ball Behind the peg. Ricky bar due blasted a shot off the cush and lucky For him the 2 balls rocketed Down the 10 and 30. A few break shots and game over.
Game 2 Me and Boycie. Brian on but off early, my chance, balls back but off early also. The game Then got a bit bogged down till I managed to get them back. A second chance and a pretty good 6k and touch gave me a good lead. A few more shots and I cleared up and ran it out with another 3k. 1-1.
Next on Pete and Mick. Mick also Off soon and Pete with some steady play took an early Lead. Mick struggling and having no luck one more steady break from Fishy was enough for the win. 2-1 Game 4 Moose and Dick ( Undefeated stars from the weekend). Dicks break and not for the first Time tonight off early with a thick split. The game going break for break till Dick managed to get The lead. The game getting really tense Moose cleared the balls for one Last chance. A terrific Effort from Moose at the death but left an awkward one on the side cush. Bar down and a thoughtful Great shot to clear but off soon after. Dick balls back and stole it. 2-2
Last but not least Twig and Billy. Billy's break and you've guessed it soon off. Twig struggled at the Weekend but was in mean mood tonight.A couple of very good breaks enough for frame and match.
A lovely evening tonight with the Cricks lads. Loads of laughs and friendly banter. A very good 3-2 Victory which could so easily been our 4th 5-0 in a row. Title race still in the balance. Rounded off With Sausage roll, chips and Billy's Pickled onions.

Railway 5 Alfold SC 0
Scott 3700 Kelly 510 Colin 2430 Chaz 1220 Dave 3970 Dave 850 Grant 1330 Bill 970 Lee 1600 Major 1490
Game 1:Lots of visits each, nothong going for Kelly. Scott mostly keeping what he scored. Game 2:Bit of a scrappy game, Colin pulled out a lead and kept it. Some spirited play from Chaz. Game 3: Repeat of game 1 except with a couple of Daves. Game 4: Scrappy game, Grant just enough in front for the win Game 5: Scrappy game, Lee did just enough before the bar dropped.
A fun evening with plenty of banter. Table played ok, it was the players that were a bit wonky. Thanks to Nathan for a fine spread of sandwiches.
