Please find below competition draw for Over 55s, Lower Division Singles and Open Doubles semi-final matches, together with Lower Division Doubles quarter-finals and semi-finals matches. Please could the captains notify the scheduled venues that there are matches on Wednesday 13th and ensure the tables are in decent condition for play, also that pegs and balls are available - thank you.

Please keep to the schedule venues and times where at all possible

The remaining semi-final matches are also included at the bottom of the draw sheet, further details to follow nearer the time

Hi "Mop" do you need the link everytime there is a new round in a competition? The link is on previous draw posts for this season and rules are on the Brighton website, if you need one each time there is a new draw let me know and I'll add it each time

Kev and Doug beat Martin and Phil in lower division doubles

Tim beat Ellis in lower division singles

Jim and bob beat tupps and kt 2-0

Tupps and kt were put in and tupps never looked settled getting to 5k in around 10 minutes, I managed to get the balls back and tap on 8k just before the bar dropped to give us leg 1
Game 2 and Jim to break his first one up was very sketchy but after a couple of good shots he never missed a hundred split and touched on 10k for the win. Thanks to Matt, Colin and mick for supporting and scoring

So that’s 3 finals in 3 years for bob and Jim

Decided to pop to the stag to see the other semi and it didn’t disappoint
Marcus and Nigel beat Phil and coxy 2-1
Marcus to go first and after a perfect break off was off second time leaving them short, Phil balls back and got to 4k before putting the one up behind. Nigel some outrageous luck but balls back and touched on 10k to give them the win .

Game 2 saw coxy touch on 11k looked solid all the way and onto a decider


Game 3 Phil new he had to put the pressure on and managed 16760 on course for 20k before coming off after whipping the red and leaving it awkward, nige pulled the bar and set about the chase and got up to about 13k before it got a little ropey a few dodgy splits and one ups but he stayed on and got past Phil’s score to give Marcus and Nigel the win
