Hi all. Well it's nearly the end of the very first Folkestone Bar Billiards season. After the end of the Dover, Deal & District League, we bought one of the tables and have installed it in Dover Road Social Club in Folkestone. We had some initial interest so thought we'd try a singles league. 16 players entered so we set up two divisions.
We should be finished next week then will be running an alternative (triangle) cup match on a one day event.
Towards the end of the year, we will be running a two leg knockout before doing a little table maintenance and then starting again. Initial interest is 23 players for the next season so three divisions are a possibility.
Wish us kuck Gregg

Little bit of info. As we had a majority of new players to the game, we set a maximum 1000 break rule to give these new players more table time. This went down well so we will keep it going for a few seasons
