Breaks  -  Rick 7880, TJ 7490. Martin 9k.

Game one a Pete overhit the break spinning the red out and taking the black out giving Geoff the break back. Geoff off at 1300. Pete balls back leaves the red short on the break and off soon. Geoff then scored a few but missed the ball near the right hand 30 not allowing the cushion kicks long. Pete break back and 2k, Geoff another chance but the same shot by the right hand 50 resulted in a miss and Pete balls back and made sure.

Game 2 Rick starts well but off at 7880, Jim balls back plenty of time but in his own words made a hash of the split missing both balls and Rick balls back to finish it off.

Game 3  Dave off at 2.5k, Bob balls back but off at 1.4k, Dave unable to retrieve the break and Bob did touching on enough, Dave finished off.

Game 4 Michael started well but left one short of the 100, good shot up the table to get both to the top end but no luck and nothing down. Martin balls back and very good break to make sure first go. Michael a rapid break to play it out. So for our 3rd game running onto a decider.

Game 5 TJ going well but got himself into trouble and off at 7490, thought damn if Mark gets them back then it is curtains but the gods smiling on TJ and Mark did not get them back but TJ did and set out to get the 3k that would make sure of a 3rd decider on the trot, mission accomplished but as he closed on 5k left one short on the 10 split, could just see it up the middle but decided better judgement was off the cushion and missed. Mark eventually got the balls back at the end and finished off

A good night at the Stag plenty of friendly banter and a lovely spread of sandwiches supplied by the landlady Lisa. Can I just say than you to my team for heaping the pressure on the captain and leaving it to him again to try and bring it home.
