Rssc A 5 Railway 0
Twig 3580 Scott 3320 Lee 4300 Grant 1100 John 10200 Dave 650 John highest home score 10200
Pete 3950 Lee 890 Twig 5010 Colin 2230 Twig 4 plyr
First up Twig and Scott. Scott with the break But off early giving Twig a good chance. Nip and tuck for quite a While with both players struggling a bit. Eventually Twig got the balls back and made a steady break to take the Lead. Time running short Scott never gave up but the bar came as Twigs saviour.
Next on Moose and Grant. Grant overhitting his second break shot was soon off giving Moose an early chance. The game got more bogged down with loads of goes and pegs with frustration On both players faces. Eventually Moose did well to clear up and make a telling break.
Third on yours truly and Dave. Dave off with the break But like previous unable to get going. I was next to get Them back and made 4k break. Dave battling away but no luck let me in again and I added another 3k. Some more At the end sealed the frame.
4th on Pete and Lee with yet another similar story. Lee having no luck and Pete chipping away to build up a lead Was the story of the leg. Pete keeping a good lead throughout saw the leg out.
Twig on for the second time against Colin. Colin going along nicely but an awkward ball saw him loose them. Twig himself struggling to get going till late on when he Made a good break to win the frame.
A lovely evening with plenty of chat and friendly banter with the Railway lads and a very good first match win For us . 4 players tonight, get well soon Sniffer.
