The under 25's was won by Chris Reeves who beat Steven Sheard in the final. It was the pairs 5th consecutive final, Steven was 3-1 in wins until today.
Chris was put into bat first and played the table out for 16,160. Steven made a 4k response, but incredibly miscued causing him to completely miss the red on the break shot, ending his hopes there and then. Steven's consolation was a 18,280 high break made earlier in the competition
12 players were present, a massive increase form previous years, and no less than 6 counties represented. The players were split into four groups of 3. Chris Reeves and Steven Sheard (although he dropped a leg to Surrey's Paul Reece) predictably made it through their groups. Leigh Ross (Bucks) & Lewis Stratford (Oxon) managed to win their groups to make it through to the semi finals. Leigh lost out to Chris and Lewis succumbed to Steven
An encouraging sign to see such a big entry to this competition, and as many were clearly a few years from the 25 year old age cut off, so the future for this tournament looks bright at last.
Full results soon to be available on AEBBA website.

Very well done to Chris on his win, commiserations to Steven. Great for the future of the game to see increased numbers and hope those that are playing at younger ages promote the game to their peers.
