Gladiator Club 'B' 1 Dolphin 'B' 4
1. Reg Johnson..........2870 beat Joe Storch..............2410 :) 2. Phil Clark.................730 lost to Paul Butcher........2930 ::) 3. Dick Stowe.............1870 lost to Chris Ellam..........2260 :-[ 4. Neil Cunliffe.............580 lost to Mel Standbridge...5120 :'( 5. Grant Johnson.......1410 lost to Adam Thorn.........3910 :(
Reg was winning quite easy until the last 2 and a half minutes, then Joe got the break back and almost caught Reg, Good game. Phil. Oh Phil, played an absolute crap game, but that being said Paul took his chances well and played a steady game. Me, well I had the break and could only pot the balls once before missing on the second shot and Chris punished me for my failing to get the break until the end. Neil just back from a few months out due to a hip replacement operation and had not played for a while, was drawn against Mel who proceeded to make the rest of us look quite mundane, she played a brilliant game to win easily. Grant played a few loose shots and was punished by Adam who played a good steady game. The best team won on the night. Both myself and Phil should have won, but on the night we were both lacking.
Masons supplied food not expected but appreciated.

Considering how he must be feeling at the moment, with his health problems, it was great to see him still performing at the highest level. Get well soon mate. Keith.

Off The Spot Q/F Gary Johnson beat Dave Rose Gary lost 10,000 brk.
Gary told me that the balls had just been polished by Paul Caistor, so it was difficult to hold them. ;D

Sounds as if Gary just couldn't hold his balls very well. Never had the problem myself!
