Windmill ( Schooner ) 3 Stadium A 2
Fairly low scoring affair at the Schooner with the home team just coming out on top in the last leg. With the pub now done up and the hostess as keen and mad as ever it was a great night of friendly banter, quite loud live entertainment, and a wonderful spread of food to finish.
Only Bill really secured his win on the first break, I looked as though I had forgotten how to play the game, and most others taking out pegs as they had just got going.

Wellie B 3 - 2 Romans B
A good night at the Wellie with the usual high spirits and japes.
The only player to win by a margin was Bob Thomas in the first game against Nick. The forth and last game (the Romans were one short) was the game of the night. Tim started against Colin Green. It was nip and tuck all the way and ended with Colin needing to one of the last two balls up to have a go at the 100. As nearly always happens in this situation, he potted both to lose.

Nige I spoke to Darvill at 6.30 pm last night and he was in the Kendal ;D Not a surprise Gary, apparently he has not played one game since the infamous walkout at the Kendal ::). A shame for the Kandal team who have been stugling with 4 players each week as a result
