You should see it follows that in Round 2 S Vaux & A vaux get the winner of M Spier & M Baden v L Hall & J Greensted.
With regards to venues I have tried to make them as neutral as possible and also give you all a chance to play tables you wouldn't normally play. If however you are not inclined to travel too far please arrange an easier venue with your opponents and let me know of the chnaged venue with the result so I don't give out the same venue in a later round.
Please try and arrange games as quickly as possible but I will set a deadline of 31 May 2008 for the round 1 games. I will update the draw as I get results so we can get on with the quarter finals ASAP. If people need contact details I will PM them to you if I have them.
Good luck everyone

Nigel Charlie and Gina are in America from today to 27th May, so there will be a problem for KT arranging his first game, would prehaps suggest that this could be played on Sunday June 1st.

Hi TTO!
Hurst Club is at Court Bushes Recreation Ground, just off Willow Way in Hurstpierpoint which is fairly near Burgess Hill.
If you put the postcode (BN6 9TH) into a SatNav system (or route finder online) you should be able to find it...!! ;) ???
Good luck in your match there, it's a nice table. 8-)

Kevin Hall & Sandra Race beat Dave Ingram & Jenny Edwards 2-1 at the Locomotive last night.
Table proved challenging with nobody managing to keep a break of more than 2K - overall I think that we all probably managed to lose almost as many points as we kept! :o
The "Reapers" won a low scoring first game with the break on the last ball when Jenny just clipped the black peg needing the 200 to win, after I had lost a break earlier that would have comfortably won the game. :'(
Jenny & I took our break game by about 2k to level the game in the highest scoring (4k - 2k) although nobody really got going properly.
The decider was neck and neck all the way, with Kevin losing a match winning 2k+ break in the last couple of minutes when an interesting kick off the side cushion meant that he totally missed a ball near the 50 hole....... :o ...... leaving the scores almost level, Jenny managed to score a few to take us into the lead but Sandra got the break back and scored enough to leave me needing 340 to win with 3 balls left..... which I didn't manage! ::)
Good luck to Kevin & Sandra in the next round....... an enjoyable evening in great company - despite the result! ;D :P
Many thanks to Bobhall for scoring and our travelling supporters club - great to see you all there! 8-) ;D

Onto the semi finals draw then Semi Finals S Vaux & A Vaux v K.Hall & S Race @ Limeburners (Billingshurst) K Tunstall & H Tunstall v M Pope & S.Wood @ Handcross (Mid Sussex) Good luck Sir KT/Lady H: If you let me know what date you arrange for your Semi-final, I'll prepare the table at Handcross (and maybe stay on to score for you). It wasn't too brilliant the last time I looked in, but it wasn't worth correcting it at the time in case it got moved again afterwards. But it doesn't take much effort to bring it up to scratch.
