Windmill/Schooner 3 Duke of Wellington A 2
A good evenings entertainment with all games being competitive. The win secures the first dvision for the Windmill and I believe the two games won by the Wellington secures them the second division. Food as usual excellent and plentiful. Open mike night and must say there certainly was a mixed bunch, some not to easy on the ear. Arthur Brewster made his first appearance as backing guitar and very good it was too, hopefully with a build of confidence will see more of Arthur.
Tony Jenner 6500 1290 Brett Westcott Dave Anscombe 1940 1690 Dave Bartrum Rick Cunningham 3740 3880 Brian Bartrum Arthur Brewster 2280 2020 Chris Parsons Bill Kerr 2930 2970 Roy Chuter

A 4-1 win for the Brewery Tap A over their B team
Rose McGuiness 500*– 4,500 Steve Mariner Chris Pemberton 2,270* – 8,430 Nigel Senior Ian Collins 800* – 11,060 Gareth Lloyd Lindsay Reay 1,790* - 4,150 Richard Wooton Phil Reay 5,550* – 4,470 Marc Chipman
Well done to Phil for the B team’s one leg they took off us, he knocked in his highest ever break and score on his way to beating Marc.
Congratulations to the Windmill C/Schooner on winning division 1. Until the Kendal’s result comes through the Duke of Wellie A will have to keep the champagne on ice for the division 2 title, but the Kendal must have three 5-0 wins to have a chance, and even then the Wellie A need just one more leg for the title in their final match.

Wellie B 2 - 3 Stadium (Micky Popes team)
No scores to hand again this week
Tim could not do much right and Chris took advantage, scoring over 7k. 0-1 Mark was the only player for our side to get to grips with table putting 9k past Alan. 1-1 Brian was another player work the top out, putting 7or8k past Pete. 1-2 My game against Sheena was a scappy affair, with me being let off after an error or two. 2-2 The game of the night saw Tim play Micky. Not a high scoring affair, but ended with Tim needed 160, with 2 white balls in the break position. Trying to play the one up with the last ball in the 200, he let them both to short. 2-3
Stadium D 1 - Kendal 4

Thanks Nigel and TJ. Glad to finally confirm title. Regg3y must be relieved as well :-[ :-[ :-[ Will give the champagne a miss though I might enjoy a pint or several instead ;D ;D ;D Been a very enjoyable season. Great to see the progress that Dave Bartrum has made, including a score of over 8k in the plate semi final. Also introduced a new player in Brad Wescot. Makes me feel very old to watch these young players. Congratulations also to the Windmill/Schooner on the division 1 title and all other team/individual trophy winners.

Romans `B`3 Three Horseshoes 2
Disappointing result for the Shoes on a tough Romans top with neither Kt or Ian clearing the table. The first game was close with Mal losing out on the last ball to Roy. Ricky posted the only decent score for the leaders when the result had gone.
