St Francis 4 white Horse 1 3 wins and a W/O for the saints. Colin Mansfield got best score of the night for home team. Bar Billiards as it should be. Everyone played to win, no one winged. Drank and talked bollocks after the game. Thecontentedone.

Sportsman 1 Droops 4
Tony Driver 1260 Graham Sparksman 3060 Gary Foster 380 Lorraine Hall 6830 (including a break of just over 4k) Garry Iles 0 Andy Farmer-Wright 9870 (played the clock out for this!) Ros 2970 Colin Humphrey 840 Sir Trevor 780 Jock 5960
Well done to Andy, who we think has got the highest away break? He also says it's the first time he's ever played a table out and his personal highest ever break too 8-) (I just wish he hadn't done it against the reserve I pulled up from Angmering!)
Well done also to Lorraine, who we think has got a new highest Ladies away score with this.
A cracking evening anyway, lots of good barracking although not enough for Jock ;)

Hurst B 4 Greyhound 1
Did not get the scores but well done Hurst - still on top
I shall be on the beach in Penang for the next two matches, drinking tiger beer and not worrying about bar billiards too much.

The Zeds avoided a potential banana skin - just - with an edgy win over the Bravos - who certainly lived up to their name.
Brewers Bravos 2, Handcross Z 3 Nikki Hinkins 870, Graham Daniels 2760 Richard Spurrier 1790, MrMike007 1270 Lynne Moyes-Robb BP, Barry Timson 1520 (Lynne very unlucky, she had to go for the 200 to tie but unfortunately felled the black) PonyTailedGuy 4160, Johnny Haigh 3300 (superb game this, John making the early running, and Adam able to make a gutsy comeback) Paul Moyes-Robb 1020, tommo 4420 (no mistake from tommo this time in the decider)
To my calculations this puts Hurst B and CKRBL level top on 86 points, with the Zeds just about in touch with 83 pts.

Well done to Andy on playing the table out and recording highest break, been a season for one or two experienced players to show improvement.

Was looking for a version from around the time you were born, which I think may be the original.
