Pam Peacock beat Nikki Hinkins 2-0 at Hurst Club tonight.
First game was peg-mania - both players suffering from competition nerves and the warm Hurst table playing like greased lightning! But Pam's experience allowed her to steady quicker and start putting some scores on the board instead of the bin.
The second game was higher scoring, but Pam's opening break gave her a start that she steadily built on throughout the game. Well played Pam, hard luck Nikki.
I hope my text got thru to Lorraine OK tonight?
