Ditto that!
Marvellous to see so many fresh faces at a county competition, played in such excellent spirit all weekend. I don't think many leagues could host an under 19's comp!
Well done to Chris Lawman for winning the Jim Wilson and thanks for hosting me.
My liver would not stand seeing too much of you lot!! You certainly know how to party and play billiards at the same time!
Sav.

;D Well done to everyone, lovely weekend, weather superb as well, Thanks Sav for hiring your tables to us, they were without doubt the best we've ever had, excellent cloth quality, and the levelling was left to you which made an all round consistency, cheers,
sorry about your liver ;D

Thanks Sav :)
It was an amazing weekend all round really. Finals day was great on Saturday evening, followed by an exceptional day on Sunday. I think that this was the best weekend Northants Bar Billiards has seen for a long time.
Congratulations to all the winners. There were some cracking games over the weekend, and that is testiment to the outstanding quality of the tables. An excellent professional service was provided by Sav, not only in the quality of the tables but also his willlingness to set up every table and no matter how much time it took, all were set up perfectly.
Other special people that require a mention are Sue Thomson and her ever present helpers with the excellent food that was laid on yet again this year. Leanne for selling the raffle tickets, Bo and his staff at the Burton Park Country Club, and also to Jason Neal who helped with the admin over the weekend. Also thanks to Jase and Ian for helping to set up the tables on Saturday. Our sponsors over the weekend were Britton Building Services, our huge thanks go to Tony for his contribution, as it also does for Simon Coleman and Longmarsh Vehicle Hire. Other sponsers were members of the Burton Cons Team.
The hardest part of any of these competitions is scorers. I was to say a massive thanks to all of you who scored matches over the 2 days. I know that some of you scored in excess of 12 legs of billiards, so thank you very much.
Lastly, I want to say thank you to all of the league members and non members who took part. Without all of you there we would not have had such a successful day. Congratulations to you all.
Lets just hope that we have a thriving league and facilities available to host another event next year.
Thanks
Chris
