Betteshanger Club A 4 Plough & Harrow, Bridge 1
Singles wins for Chris Saville & Neville Potts was only answered by a final singles victory for Baz Symes, as Betteshanger powered the early alternate-rules doubles to take the match.
Plough & Harrow, Bridge B 5 Two Sawyers 1.
Alan Smith put Two Sawyers ahead, but Kevin Kay pipped Gary Clarke with the last ball, and John Fullager also won for Plough, before they powered to all three alternate-rules doubles to reach the final
Plate Semi:-
Magnet B 3 Plough & Harrow Tilmanstone B 3.
P&H won on aggregate 7,490-7,470.
Magnet B took two of the three singles via Dawn Williams and Donna Prior. After The Ladies took the first doubles, the Plough Veterans fought back to take the last two doubles. A points tally saw Harry Pearson's team progress to the Plate final by just 20 points!
