Spring Cup final.
Plough & Harrow, Bridge B 4 Betteshanger Club A 1. (at Magnet, Deal)
Neville Potts beat Stan Brocklebank by more than 4k for Betteshanger, but Kevin Kay came back to beat Chris Saville. John Fullager edged Wack Sampson by 5k-4k putting Plough ahead, but Betteshanger were up on aggregate. The first two doubles went to the Plough and the title.

Key points
Break & break back singles, table a little difficult.
1) Both off early, Nev had a break of about 3k to take charge
2) Sav's score was his opening break! Kev replied with 3k and a final 2k to pinch it, I picked the wrong night for a poor performance after eleven consecutive single wins
3) John opened with 3k and got another 2k to leave us in big trouble, Wack pulled back 3k at the end to leave us in front on aggregate
Triangles Pairs
4) Solid game from Kev in particular with three breaks of 500+
5) John Fullager had a break of almost 1k and then he was left over the 50 for nearly another 1k, game over
6) Conceded
