White Horse V White Swan 9th June 2008

Well the first quarter of the season is here :D a vey short season.

White Swan are looking good in the table after the first 2 weeks:

Nelsons Head 5.5
Carpenters Arms 4.5
White Swan 3

Plus White Swan have a game in hand!

So come on Swans lets stop those horses ;D ;D
Hopefully I will do a LOT better then 160 last week :D :D

Well who would of though that Swans were more dominent over horses ;D ;)

Trevor 0 V John Roos 1,430
Well this wasn't a close game, Trvor just couldn't get into his game at all. John played some nice shots on a table that was incredibly downhill.

Chris 1,060 V Mark George 2,120
Mark went off with a 1,600 and never looked back, Chris threw a lot of points away during the game and was catching Mark up.

Trevor 420 V Johnny George 2,620
I found this table (which has just been recovered) very difficult on the break. I played it too hard and ende up splitting through a peg. Trevor threw away 1k and I just did a good clean up and won.

Will 1,100 V Keith Macdonald 3,630
Keith never had a problem in this game, very one sided. Keith also struggled to find the break, amazingly only 2 people all night got it 3 times in a row!

Steve 490 V Peter Pan 1,720
Peter played with confidence after last week, got a nice opening break and made a good impression on everyone with some wonderful shots.


I rate the table 7/10 as the downhill and right drift did play a part in todays low scores. Nice new top and when level should be a joy to play!
