White Swan V Waggon and Horses 16th June 2008

Finally our first home game this season ;D
Me and my dad are going to try and level it ready for the matches. I hate playing on un-leveled tables so I feel it's only right that the Swan have a good leveled table.

We have 8 points so far and with the Nelsons on a bye we can overtake and be in the drivers seat. As things stand we need 1 point to level or 2 to be top.

My match report will follow later in the day.

Keith started the night, tapping up after every 3k. Keiths opponent Rob just couldn't find pockets.

Battle of the Landlords, John Roos versus Nick Winnington. Nick started off with 300 then John lost 3k by missing the ball off the cushion. John did recover and won.

Mark George versus Hue, my dad won this game early on, Hue was rattled and balls were whacked off the table.
4,450 - 940

Peter Pan (Grant) ;D versus Steve Austin, Peter has found his form and is truly playing a very good game lately. Still one or 2 Granty flicks but he wouldn't be Peter without them ;)

Now the "special one" versus Kevin Cattermole, Kevin started with 500 then I got the break back and got 5k. Quite one sided, I even tried a few trick shots :D

So the Nelsons have a 4 point mountain to climb and there next fixture doesn't look good! For them :D cause they have the Swans.
