The Brighton AGM will be held on the Wed 16th July.
The venue will hopefully be the Stadium, Jean is checking availability and I will confirm this ASAP
We need as many captains/ players to attend as possible as we have some inportant decisions to make especially regarding the league structure for next season.
Remember if you don't attend you have no right to complain if the structure is not to your liking next year.

Sure Nige will let you know how it goes. If previous years agms are anything to go on there wont be anyone there to go against his format. Although there should be a massive turnout this year from all the people that moaned about this years format and whom we told to turn up at the agm to put their point of view!!!!!!!!!

News from the AGM
Probably better attended than in recent years (although 15 is still a small number in a league with over 100 players). There were no rules changes. League format was discussed. My proposal of scrapping the Prem v Div 2 was seen as probably the best compromise overall. Interestingly one division 2 team wanted very much the same format as this year (ie playing the Premier teams home & away) and one div 2 team wanted to go back to the format of two years ago where division 2 was a completely separate division of around 5 teams. A final decision will be made by the committee after teams have registered, but it seems likely that we will go down the route of my proposal as it seems to be the best compromise.
With regards to number of teams it seems we could be down to just 13 next year – the Kendal is joining Spencer’s Stadium team, which is good news as we may have lost both teams, but will just lose one. Sadly though it seems that we will lose Colin Green’s team from the Romans.
The committee personnel remains pretty much unchanged although there are some new faces on the voting committee. Also somehow I got voted in as president – I seem to always gain jobs at these AGMs and not pass on any to anyone else!
