Excellent day out at the Slinfold Park Golf Club, weather held out and in fact sun shone all day ( some of us being stupid enough to forget lotion have in fact ended with a touch of sunstroke.)
Congratulations to all that won prizes, especially for the afternoon Stapleford winner John Burrows who got a superb 41pts playing off of 8 handicap.
Thanks to the organisers Jim Millward, Grant Tulley and Steve Mariner who put in a lot of work into getting all together for the day and arranged all prizes, catering etc.
Course was in good nick and a fair challenge. I personally played for the most golf played, but was pipped to the post.
Next years event is already agreed and only the venue to be arranged later in the year, will post here in time for next year so if you did not get to hear about this years be prepared.
