Moving Date

As most of you are aware, my time in the UK is fast approaching the last whistle. No, I have no intention ( not yet anyway ) of passing away, just leaving for other shores within the European Union. I spoke to a lot of friends at the Kent Classic and told of my departure, and I had hoped that I would have been going over this coming week-end.
However, things don't always go as one expects, and this is no exception, so my departure has been delayed by about 5 - 6 weeks.
When I have a fixed date on which I will be going, then I will put another post here, so as to wish everybody a fond farewell, and good luck.
I am hopeful that I will come over to Jersey in the near future, but I will be back in the UK twice a year ( at least ), to visit both my parents, once at christmas ( my father died 27th Dec ), and again in April ( my mother died 22nd ), so maybe I can get round to see a few people while I am here.
In the mean time, Best wishes to all for the coming season whenever your league may start.

We chatted as recently ago as at the Kent Open, and you informed me then of your plans, and your reasons for the re-location, which made sound economic sense.

It will be great to continue our chat - some time in Jersey, maybe. And no doubt you will have with you, safe and sound, that cherished item - the beer towel for wiping your cue, together with the battle-scars inflicted on it by D.C. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Peter, and the announcement was made at the Kent Classic by Pete Sainsbury, after all the presentations had taken place. I know that you had gone, so the news had not filtered through yet. I still have a couple of meetings left to fulfil over here, One being the K.B.B.A. A.G.M. of which I am chairman, until the end of the meeting, and the other is the C.B.B.L. A.G.M., of which I am president. Both offices I hold will be vacated by me, and a replacement found ( hopefully ).
