Having been at Berks yesterday have only just studied the footage and what a joke.
If they do not overturn the stewards decision once again formula one becomes in my opinion a sport run by idiots.

Formula one judgements appear to relate to the colour of the car being driven, red or silver.

The official line was that Lewis had cut a corner, thus giving him an unfair advantage when he overtook at the next bend. I have never heard of anything like that before in Formula One.

Just managed to watch the race without knowing the result, even though my video stopped after 6 laps in the end I watched it over the net. Then read the BBC report only to find out Hamilton was disqualified.
I am afraid it has happened before and it will happen again, the FIA are totally Ferrari biased and will also do anything to make sure the championship runs to the last race. I even heard Niki Lauda (ex Ferrari) say as much in an interview. The 25 second penalty is way over the top - did he gain 25 seconds by cutting the corner - of course he did not. Had Raikkonen finished he may have been able to argue the point but Hamilton actually let him back past and then outbraked him into the next corner, but either way Raikkonen did not finish so it is irrelevant. Also it seems to me Raikkonen pushed Hamilton wide in the first place to force him to cut the chicane or otherwise crash.
I realise that is either 25 seconds or a drive through penalty usually applied in these circumstances, but these days the stewards seem to give out penalties to suit themselves - and what they want is a close championship with Ferrari involved.
What really riles me here is that as soon as they start actually racing and try to pass each other the stewards jump down on the drivers like a ton of bricks. What did they expect hamilton to do on a wet track, just follow Raikkonen round? Hmmm, and what happened when Raikkonen lost control on a wet track at Monaco and took Sutil out - absolutely nothing! And where was Massa's penalty in the last race for unsafe exit of pitlane?!?!

I think that Eccelstone is out to rid F1 of privateers such as Mclaren.
