A big WELL DONE to Dave Ingram who carried the flag for Mid Sussex at this years Team County Championship with 3 out of 3 wins and an average score of 8,243 ;)
Sussex B got promoted into Division 1 by winning all matches 4-3 We were tied on 12 points with the not so sheepish Northants but went through as we had beat them.
Below is the final table on how the teams ended up in Div 2 copied from thread County Champs Oxon does it again under Tournaments
Div 2 P W L Score Player Ave Pts I Sussex B 3 3 0 112,020 5,334 12 F Northants 3 2 1 109,520 5,215 12 G Kent A 3 1 2 107,100 5,100 11 H Surrey A 3 0 3 77,420 3,687 7

Well done Dave maybe the Saturday practice helped - see you Wednesday. It is about time you lost a game, looking forward to a tough match anyway.

Well done indeed to the BB Warrior and also to the BB Reaper - the ultimate success for both in their first representation at this event. (I have been trying for four years to land a trophy with the AEBBA logo on and still it eludes me !)
Looking forward to seeing you turn over Sussex A in the Main Event next year !
Awesome performances from both the Warrior and Reaper - so mighty that the only adequate replacements that could be found for them in the Hurst 'A' team were the no.1 and no.2 players in the World ! ;D ;D

Many thanks for the kind words................ I though it was a great team effort with fantastic team spirit which enabled us to win all 3 matches, coming from 0-2 down in the first two games and 0-3 down in the decider against Northants! :o
I thought that the support I received from all of the other players on the day was amazing and made a huge difference to me....... Big TJ and Alan Messer were always encouraging and with Martin Smith also winning 3 out of 3 on the day it was left to (my lucky scorer! ;)) Bill Kerr and Mal Spier to ultimately get us home in the last couple of matches. ;D ;D
The Reaper has (very modestly! :o) forgotten to mention his own performance of 2 wins out of 3.... and a terrific average of 9136! 8-) He even managed to make it all the way back to Tommo's before he needed the toilet...... despite sinking his last pint very quickly! :o ;)
Thanks also to our lady supporters....... Sandra & Colleen :-* ...... who definitely brightened up the day and kept us all laughing. ;D
It was a pleasure and privilige to be selected to play for the County with such a brilliant group of people - thank you! ;D

Yes, many thanks for allowing me to join you, Peter & Neil in your practice session..... some tough games on the lovely Greyhound table was an ideal practice for Sunday! ;) I also had a few games with the Reaper in the evening at the Stadium in Hove..... another lovely table where our combined aggregates in each game were 13-18k! :o ;D Sandra then showed us both how to play the table there properly as she beat us both soundly in a game of 31's afterwards....!! 8-) ::)

Yep its always that last pint that does me in :o never the 16 i have before it ::) ;D Well you had a go at beating Gary's 'by the wayside' record on the way back from Bucks and fell short by a few seconds. :P Last night I thought the master had relinquished his crown: But then the car had to be stopped a second time, this time outside the gates of Kempton Park Racecourse, for remainder of the tank to be emptied ! ;D If one day we hear of a news item that the gates are to be replaced as they are going rusty, we'll know why ! ;D ;D

As it should be Lorraine, I for one believe the words County team, and think it is great for the game to see new names progressing.
Good luck to yourself and the ladies this coming weekend. Rumour has it that all being well you should have at least a few supporters. Well done to Ros on her selection again bringing new faces into the fray.
