USC 1 - 4 Brewers Bravos
Ron Wales 750 - 3780 Richard 'Spud' Spurrier Ron yet again gets drawn first and this time against Spud who played really well and looks to me to have improved lots.
Chris Packham 770 - 4110 Paul Moyes-Robb Chris showed he knew what a cue was for but couldn't get it together and Paul showed just how much he has improved with a good game.
Graham (where's his Pony Tail gone) Sparksman 2340 - 5660 Adam (no I'm not growing it back on my chin) Bateup Adam only went off with 1k and after much ball chasing I managed to get the break back but got out of position after 1k myself. We then played silly wotsits for a while which included several 'interesting' leaves by Adam which pretty much stopped me from getting the break back and eventually he put in the killer score and did so impressively.
Andy Short 3260 - 1130 Nikki Hinkins Andy owed himself a good game after last week and started to show some of his potential in a good tussle with Nikki.
Mick Kirwan 1080 - 2080 Liam Churcher Mick lost the biggest break of the evening at 4k which would have sealed the game and that allowed young Liam back in and he took his chance well.
Lots of food (too much even for the Wags ;D) with a nice seletion of 3 cheeses and a Pate, French bread, sausages, chicken nuggets, sausage rolls, silverskin onions.....if there was anything else it was gone before I got there (scoring as usual ;D).
Compliments about the table too, just a pity no of us did it real justice last night.

CKRBL 5 Watermill B 0
D.Taylor 3810 v M.Range 2020 Martin broke off with 450.Derek then got a break of 1000+ and then another two of 850 & 900.Martin struggled to put together any decent scores which is unlike him so far this season 1-0 Shaky Coles 3290 v Sabina Williams 550 Shaky started with a break of 2008 and that was game over as the balls just would not drop for Sabina and it was just not her night but it will come. 2-0 Peter Edwards 3870 v Paul Blackburn 2080 I broke off with zilch but when Peter failed to get the break back I was lucky enough to put all the balls down and get the break back and knocked up a break of 1900 half of them going in the left hand fifty hole.Peter then got the break back and knocked up a quick 2000+ which made the scores almost level but he then got the break again at the death and got another quick 1010. It was dissapointing to lose right at the end but I was pleased with my performance.Peter played well considering at one time he was 2000 adrift. 3-0 Ted Stringer 6090 v Gavin Boyd 1100 Ted started off with a break of 2000+ and although Gavin ot the break back he did not take full advantage of it and Ted quickly got the break back and knocked up another break of almost 3000 and the game was over. 4-0 Dilly Williams 3390 v Tony Williams 860 Tony never really got to grips with the table and missed the break Dilly then knocked up 1000+ and with a further 900 a few shots later and Tony struggling the game was slipping away from him.Dilly continued to pot the balls and although Tony managed to pot some towards the end it was too late. 5-0

Ok. I take it back and I've deleted it. It was wrong to compare you to Fazza. Don't want to upset the poor fellow. ;D ;D ;D Having slept on this comment..... and the previous one...... I have to say that I preferred the original post to the "apology" - if that is what you would call it. >:( >:( Disappointing coming from a "Global Moderator"...... although I did smile at Bernie's flying pig...... 8-) 8-) My future input here will be far less controversial from now on and will simply be limited to providing scores & results of matches that I have played in (without comments about individual games) and matters that relate to the Sussex Website which I will be looking after in the future. I will not be getting involved with any future discussions about table conditions, rule changes or other issues that may arise. I will also not be providing future fixture lists, results of other matches or providing averages and statistics for the League...... so hopefully somebody else will take this role on here. This pig has flown..... from now on, Silence is golden. :-X :-X :-X

I saw fit to close this thread because we had gone WAY OFF TOPIC.
If anyone has anything further to add on the results for Week 3 League matches, PM me and I will willingly re-open it.

SpecialOne has PM'd me with a favourable comment about this thread, and as his match was the only one without a comprehensive report, I have re-opened it to quote the OldFella's comment on that particular scorecard:
Plough 5, St Francis 0 "Plough also applied the brush in their home game against Saints with a big difference in the points between home and away sides. No big scores on this top and the wins went to Geoff Parsons, Des Gasson, Mark Webber, Mark and Keith Potter. A win that keeps Plough in joint first place."
