We do worry about these things! ;) Buying your table kind of adds an extra emotion to the whole thing!!

Mr BFG the table was playable once you got used to it, but by the time we got used to it it was to late :-(. The table was a little up hill but played like a down hill table!!! if that makes any sense. Break and split was ok, top of the table was a little tricky with the balls coming in on both sides but as i said once you got used to it it was fine ;). We just took longer to get the hang of it than the Wolloie A, the games were close and it could of gone either way.

Hi Chaps Thanks for the pointers about the Woolie table. We are playing there next week in the Alan Stedman so will have to watch out for the uphill /downhill rolls. As Ted Waters would say, it's probably a left to right table - if you know what one of those is!!!
Be interested to know who played on Wednesday
We scraped a 3-3 draw at that well known Worthing venue, The Henty where a certain Dave France guested in place of Pete (is that bells I hear a ringing?????)
Seriously though it's a great venue and brilliant food and we had a good night playing darts. We were I must admit quite revieved to come away with 3 points. I think the boys from the Henty nee Sportsman may well shake off that title of yo-yo team this term.
