Premier Horse & Harrow 4 Nelson A 1
John Scoones 6,270 Pauline Withey 1,260 Paul Lawson 4,660 Mark Trafford 1,800 Pete Lee 9,290 Robin Godfrey 1,870 Maxi McDonnell 14,500 Keith Sheard 100 Gary Johnson 50 Steven Sheard 16,660
John made a couple of small breaks to beat Pauline, who couldn't get the break back at all.
Paul went in with 4,000, Mark missed his first one up and then lost a winning break of 6,000.
Robin struggled with the table, so giving Pete an easy win.
Maxi made a faultless 11,900 opening break against me.
Steven salvaged a point for us with a brilliant performance, which included an opening break of 10,750 to give Gary no chance.

:( Gladiator Club 'B' 2 Marlborough Club 3.
1. Neil Cunliffe................ WO beat Aurthur Mc Intyre.........0 2. Sean Holmes..............1300 lost to Ian Major...........1310 :( 3. Phil Clark.....................WO beat Angie Mc Intyre............0 4. Richard Stowe............1430 lost to Chris Iago..........2070 >:( 5. Tom Penning...............360 lost to Sonya Mc Intyre..5070 :(
If it wasn't for the two walk overs we could have lost 5-0. Sean having his first game in the league did very well and but for a peg or two could have won. Both Chris and myself lost breaks, Chris over 3k and me over 1.5 k, but the result was fair, Chris was on the table at the right time when the bar dropped. Tom again was up against it in only his second league game. Sonya played the table as if she had been playing here all summer. But all in all a good friendly game.

Why was the 4 player rule not used?.......even though they only had three players they still could have used it and played another game. This is the second time already this season that this rule has not been used by a team!! Every team had a new set of rules given to them, so not knowing can't be the reason, it must be that they don't care about the points they can win for using this rule. :-/
