Question for you...
As Both the Nelson teams have been drawn against each other and will both therefore be playing on their home table should it not be 2 breaks each with the final game played as timed/equal breaks?? ??? ???

Please read the new Rules & Constitution. (back page Format for Knock-Out Competitions.
If you wish to add or change any rules remember to put it in writing for the next AGM.

I understand this is a little harsh, but you are forgetting the big difference, as you are the home team, you get to have a practice on the table and we don't.

do you have a knock up if both teams are at home ????? Surely you must know by now, welcome to the forum :) (Read the new set of rules) Steady on Pete, it's only his first post and he is only asking a question!! The Scotland Ash Cup is run on a home or away basis, which means that if two teams from the same house are drawn out to play each other then the first team out is the home team and the second team out is the away team, even though they really are on their own table. This Cup is run on League rules which also means no practice for the away side on away tables (unlike some Leagues). The home side receive the breaks in games 1 & 4 and the away side having 2,3 & 5, with no equal break or time in the last game. I agree that it is not the fairest situation we could have, but as Pete says their is always the AGM to change things. Keith.

Thanks for clearing that up Keith. The wording of the rules (on back page) are a bit vague. We asked what we thought was a simple and straightforward question and your reply is a simple and straightforward answer which was all we wanted. (One without hints of sarcasm)

Perhaps we will have to change one or two words around on the rule sheet to explain in more detail..
A big :) to Shaggy and Mossy ;)
