Tuesday 14th October 2008 Betteshanger Alma Lions 6 : 0 Plough & Harrow, Bridge A Neville Potts 6,560 920 Baz Symes John Addley 6,330 3,870 Ian Dennett Chris Saville 8,850 2,180 Keith Symes John & Chris 7,850 3,150 Ian & Baz Chris & Wack 4,190 2,570 Keith & Ian Wack & Neville 5,010 1,380 Baz & Keith The Betteshanger Lions continued their impressive start to the season with a 6-0 home win against the Plough & Harrow, Bridge A team. Neville Potts (6,560) opened for the home side with a win, and this was quickly followed by John Addley (6,330) who hit back with a 5,800 break, and then Chris Saville (8,850) including a break of 6,250, both these last games were against the break. The first doubles saw Addley & Saville (7,850) both score the maximum 2,000 break allowed in a high scoring leg to defeat Ian Dennett & Baz Symes to secure the win. Then Wack Sampson partnered Saville (4,190) and then Potts (5,010) to secure maximum points for the Betteshanger team and keep them top of the league at this early stage. Thanks! Neville
Chris, Wack & John - well played yet again last night guys, another impressive team performance, with some key breaks at decisive times especially in the doubles matches. 38k points from us all last night in six games!!
