Took my test today and passed with only 4 minors, though one he admited to being picky on ::) YAY
I am now looking for a car, great time to start looking at entering Opens now. Maybe even play in Northants or Oxford??

Well done JG just remeber the frst six months are the most dangerous for any new driver, your enthusiam WILL exceed your anticipation.
Just remember there could be someone similar coming the other way around the next bend, can you avoid him?

Congrats Johnny! What's the budget for your first car? I'm assuming insurance costs will be a big factor in car choices, fuel economy may be on your agenda too, so I'd look at the more popular little diesels such as a Peugeot 106, Saxo, Corsa, Fiesta or Yaris. Use www.whatcar.co.uk or www.parkers.co.uk to look up info about which models to go for and which to avoid, and you can get used car price guides too. You'll find a bargain lurking around this time of year so if you buy the right car and avoid crashes, dings and scrapes, you may well sell it for a profit next year!
