With The Marlborough withdrawing :( The Dolphin B are through to the 2nd round.
Not feeling on top of the world at the moment i have phenomena and i have to stay at home in the warm. (Orders from the hospital, not easy).
Just for fun before i retire to bed is my predictions of tonights matches. To win Democrats, Harrow, Masons A, Corner House, Berinsfield, Dolphin A. and Nelson A (but only just depending on the draw)
Good luck and good night :)

Gladiator Club 'B' 1 Dolphin 'A' 4
1. Jenny Webb...............3970 lost to Paul Caistor.............6480 2. Phil Clark....................8180 beat Dave Barns................2130 3. Sean Holmes................780 lost to Simon Elam.............3540 4. Tom Penning................750 lost to Chris Storch............2670 5. Neil Cunliffe................1840 lost to Jimmy Robson.........4870
Jenny put on a good showing against Paul, with a 2.48k break her highest ever, she started her game much more confidently and slower than normal and it nearly paid off, Paul had to chase hard but got going and the outcome was inevitable, but I must say well done to Jenny for a damn good try. Phil played a brilliant game to beat Dave with two breaks one of 6.53k and a smaller one of just over 1k. at the end to take the win. Sean lost a few against Simon, but Simon was in always in control. Tom also lost a few and it could have been a different outcome, but Chris mastered the end game. Neil's game I'm afraid I can't say much about that because I was being mother again and doing the cooking. I will ask Neil later about his game and put a report in. This game was played in a very friendly atmosphere and good fun was had by all. 8-) ;D ;D

I thought Matt Thompson of the Nelson B was going to join the Shelley and play for them on Thursday.

:) No, but only because he was away. Up north somewhere I think, but it was far enough for Bob to miss this match.
