Brilliant win by Jean and thoroughly desreved. Great personal best by Hayley ... well done you..
The absolutely greatest bit of the day for me was Hayley Tunstall ...offering immediately on the first round, to score for Hants up and coming and very inexperienced young players...she did not think about here own game here at all ... they were and I am truly in admiration, inspired by her support throughout the checking, which was totally professional yet gave support and encoragement to such very new and up and coming players...
Thank you Hayley!!... this is what will in the future keep the game alive and bring in future players.... Best Wishes Chris

That`s nice of you to say those kind words Chris. That`s Hayley through & through. She will always put others first, always help out scoring when others just stand around or go outside for a cigarette. She never looks at her next table, where as a lot of players would. I even had to say something to her when the Ladies County champs were on, because she was scoring one of the Mens A.E.singles matches (which should have been covered by the other players in the group), when she should probably have been supporting her teammates. She will always encourage new players & youngsters as well, whenever her team haven`t got a game, you will always find her cheering on some of the new lower div. players at the Dolphin. ;)

:-[ :-X ;D
Thanks for your kind words Chris.
I love watching the youngsters play, they have no fear - especially Lisa-Kim!
I think what many people don't know is that I have been playing BB in the pubs around Brighton since I was 16 ::) I learnt the game at the Railway Club in Belmont nr Seven Dials.
The thing I didn't know about was the BB leagues that were around at that time that I could'v joined :(
I loved the game so much my ex-husband brought me a table and so my three children were brought up to play (and enjoy?!) the game too. Unfortunately, we weren't all that with the rules and used to play off the spot (which I do enjoy) and several other rules of our own making 8-) :-/ :-X
I hope BB is around for years yet as I still really love the game and enjoy playing (ok TJ, so I get a bit p***ed off when I do something stupid >:( ). I just feel robbed that I only found out about the leagues in 2003 and didn't start joining in until 2005 - all those years wasted!!!
H.x

Hayley definitely not getting at you, as I know you have a passion for the game and good to be pissed off when you play a badden or things do not run, this is what builds the character of good players.
