Another narrow 3-2 loss for the Montreal but very close games all night!

Im still to win a game myself this season, the sooner my game picks up we will start winning games. The league format after playing 3 games seems like it is definately working though!
Great night enjoyed by all and im sure the Windmill lads and lassy would agree.

The Preston Brewery Tap A were at home to the Romans B last night and took a 5-0 victory.
We did look on for the highest score record but unfortunately just fell short.
Steve mariner against the break made 16410, two breaks of eight and a bit against E Cox.
I went on after 5 minutes gone as Brian Thomas black pegged his opening 3k and ran it out with 18640.
Nigel followed steve hurleys opening 100 break with an awesome 24930 break !!!! so close to the 25k.
Chris Reeves follwed Roy Marshs opener with 450 but got them back again on the next visit and finished up with 20580.
So after 4 games we had racked up 80,560.
Gareth followed Colin green 1500, Gareth got to 6k and came off and spent ages chasing the balls round the back, he eventually got them back but pegged on 3k, colin then scored a further 1200. Gareth finished off with a few more totaling 9460
Total score 90,020, is this a record giving away all 5 breaks ??
S Mariner 16410 - 1370 E Cox R Wooton 18640 - 0 B Thomas N Senior 24930 - 100 S Hurley C Reeves 20580 - 480 R Marsh G Lloyd 9460 - 2780 C Green

Wellie B 3 - 2 Dyke B
A good win for us last night. Hoping to maybe win a game or two, things didn't go to plan.
I cannot remember many scores but here is who played who. Game 1. Nick beat Terry M. 1-0 Game 2. Mark lost to Terry C. 1-1 Game 3. I beat Moppy. I had my best game ever. I started with 6500ish and ended with 9640. 2-1 Game 4. Tim beat Terry R. 3-1 Game 5. Garry lost to Micky Hall. 3-2
Elsewhere last night... The Wellie A team lost at the Stadium. They could only muster 3 players with the Bartrums on holiday, so did quite well to only lose 3-2.
The Kendal lost 5-0 to the Dyke A.

Montreal v Windmill, yes Gary confirm great night with the Windmill having to depend on their captain to perform heroics despite having to walk with a crutch due to pulled ligaments. Must admit your lack of form so far this season certainly helped us.

I know it is early and difficult to get a good reflection on how teams are playing, but the lower div sides should take some confidence in thier positions.
