1st result in: Margo has conceded her game to Colleen.
With apologies to all concerned (my fault apparently, for putting her name on the form in the first place).
Thank you to Colleen for still being willing to play if she changed her mind, but the arrangement date has now passed. So Good Luck in the next round.

ros did as far as im aware yesterday at the brewers in which i was also told the table was playing superb Thanks boball :) Yes, I won 2-0. I don't know if tommo will see this, or whether it will count as a commendation, but both Pam and I said we had never known this table to play so nicely. I didn't write down the scores, but from memory I scored about 4.5k in the first and 3.9k in the second, with Pam getting a couple of thousand in the first, and I think about 1k in the second which was a scrappier game. I really slated this table (no pun intended) last year, it is a credit to Jock to have made such an improvement, no doubt helped greatly by screwing it to the floor!

With advance apologies to the ladies for straying of topic, but Ros has mentioned the resurgence of the Brewers as a quality table - and our latest 'Tables table' would seem to confirm this: Top of table: 1 Eight Bells (ex-Sportsman) 2 Greyhound 3 Laughing Fish 4 Handcross 5 Brewers IAs you can see, it's up to 5th, whereas in week 5 it was second-to-bottom (in 11th place). Well done, Ros, in winning your singles. My lads are looking forward to the trip out tonight to play on currently the BEST table in the league. Having to miss out on such a treat personally as Margo and I are going to see Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen at Horsham. :o :o :o
