Dilly and Jock playing Mon 22nd Jocks wins 2-1 Cracking match though, dilly romped the first 5k+ v's 3k+, the dillster boshing in a good solid 4k break to kill the opener off! Jock promplty romped the second against the break, 7k+ v's 1k+, the jockman finallt remembering you gotta give a thump on this top, break of 5k+ to level it up! Evens in the last, dilly of early with a surprising 100, so in for the kill I went and was going well until pegging the 6k+ break I was on, dilly back in but failed to score, as did I and then as did dilly, I got break back then and kept composed enought to win it with a further 4k+ break. Challenging but enjoyable table, lovely welcome from the boss lady and even better to discover all the bitter and more importantly non premium lager at £2.00 a pint! (and staying that way till next year, get in!!!!) Great games against dilly, who to be fair played his best in the opener to hold me off, but he really struggled with the break in the next 2, bad luck me old mate, hope you and the lovely lady have a great crimbo!!!! Much thanks to big Andy Farmer for driving and scoring, and the same thanks to Teddy bear Stringer for scoring as well.

I beat IanG 2-0 at Laughing Fish tonight. ;D
Scores...
IanG 520 - 9,810 BB Warrior BB Warrior 8,500 - 1,130 IanG
Table was playing very well at the front, still tricky at the back and playing the balls at the right pace is the key here. ;D
Many thanks to H for preparing the table. 8-)
Going off topic completely....... but if anybody wants a REALLY GOOD Meal, then try the Laughing Fish. Colleen & I ate there tonight, she had lovely sizzling prawns for starter followed up by Home Made Pie (loads of meat & Gravy) with Mash, I had Mushrooms with Stilton Sauce followed by Taglietelle...... neither of us could manage pudding! :o ;D ;D

Richard Spurrier Vs. Pete Edwards was played earlier today resulting in a 2-1 victory for Pete. Scores in all three games were about 3k to 1k in favour of the winner. Well played to Pete who managed to get going a little bit more than me today.

David Swinbank v Norman Cragg @ St Francis Andy Hall v Colin Humphrey @ Handcross S.C. Does anybody know if these matches have been played yet and what the results were? Or, what happens if they haven't been played as it is now past the cut-off date of 4th January? ???

Regarding Andy hall V Colin Humphrey there was a mix up with the dates, I am not sure what is happening with that one tho. Regarding the cut off date you can request an extension from the competition secretary which they may have done for whatever reason(s).

Richard Spurrier Vs. Pete Edwards was played earlier today resulting in a 2-1 victory for Pete. Scores in all three games were about 3k to 1k in favour of the winner. Well played to Pete who managed to get going a little bit more than me today. Mama Hall advises that Pete Edwards has withdrawn from the Singles, so Spud goes through instead.
