Just like to say Good Luck to Ros in the Ladies Grand Prix this weekend at Reading - whatever she decides to wear ! (see main thread for explanation)
Good to see Mid Sussex ladies qualifying for this National event (Jenny qualified also but unfortunately can't make it).
Strangely no Mama Hall, but I'm sure she'll be there next year. ;)

Good luck Ros, lets hope this is the first year of many.
I think you should wear an evening gown and show those snooker wannabes the way it should be done ;D

Thanks guys, although I didn't have time to reply, reading this thread put a smile on my face before I set off yesterday :)
For the record, I did wear a skirt, although not a very short one ;)
Although I came away with "nul points", I took the first game off Pauline and only lost the match on aggregate by 1200. I also took the first game off Chris Toner, but lost the match by about 3k.
Lady H and I scrapped for it at the back on the last match, both struggling a bit with the table, but in the end she won both games and the match with (I believe) about 1600 on the aggregate.
I'm really glad I went, I had a great time and learnt a lot. I went up wondering what on earth I was doing there, but I came home feeling better about my game. I hope I can qualify again next year.
When I saw the list, I'd hoped that Jenny and I would be up there together, it was a shame she couldn't make it.

Well done Ros for taking a game off Pauline and Chris, two very good lady players. ;D
It is a shame that Jenny was unable to make it, maybe next year you will both be going! 8-)

well done Ros, who played very well to take a leg of off both Pauline and Chris. Certainly not outclassed on the day and drew many comments from Pauline about good shots played on a tricky top.
