Floods Tavern

Off to a great start in this years 2008/09 Season. With 5 match nights won out of 8 we are sure aiming for mid table or possibly more....!

We have some good players coming through also, with Carl, Glen, Mike and Ant. My dad and I are helping them out getting to know shots and it's working really well.

Here we are in Stats:

1. Mark George W:7 L:1 Average Score: 2,962

2. Johnny George W:8 L:2 Average Score: 5,442

3. Carl Anderson W:2 L:3 Average Score: 1,576

4. Mike Buckingham W:1 L:3 Average Score: 735

5. Ant Lovelidge W:1 L:4 Average Score: 746

6. Glen Rovel W:0 L:8 Average Score: 871

In both divisions we are the second highest scorers ;D 8-) But we have played a couple of games more than Division 1 teams!

Really proud of them and hopefully on Monday we will get another good result. :)

Update.

Well the first half is over and the Floods Tavern is 1 point off from promotion position. With a great second round of fixtures. Gaining 16 from a possible 25.

Here are the end of year stats for the Floods team.

1. Johnny George W:10 L:2 Average: 5,222

2. Mark George W:8 L:2 Average: 2,805

3. Carl Anderson W:3 L:3 Average: 1,555

4. Mike Buckingham W:1 L:4 Average: 706

5. Glen Revel W:2 L:9 Average: 958

6. Ant Lovelidge W:1 L:5 Average: 757

I also got a personal best in the league with a 13,640 score the day after the Under 25's.
I have also seen improvement in Glen too as he had a great break in his last game to win the frame. Winning 2 games in a night after 9 lossses sure put a smile on his face :) 8-)

We certainly werent expecting to get promoted this year but if the chance is there I'm sure we will take it. Now roll on Division 1 teams :-/ :D 8-)
