Montreal 4 - 1 Brewery Tap B
M Scott 7680 - 6040 C Pemberton *
Taxi score was his opening break, Moppy played a steady game and did enough to win.
* G Mechan 12490 - 770 A Reay
After losing to Adam in the away leg I was determined to make up for it. I only scored 1200 on my opening break and Adam caught up. Then i got the balls back for a 4k break and then got straight back in for another 7k break.
M Barsby 5870 - 1810 D Davis *
Micky won again and is starting to play very well, Dan couldn't really get the hang of the table.
* B Mechan 2270 - 3820 P Reay
Bob came off after 1200 and never managed to get the break back all game and Phil capatalized.
S Burns 4890 - 260 L Norris*
Steve played like a wally but never really looked like losing this one.
The mont table is playing sexually at the moment.

I think the scores speak for themselves. A good night with only 2 problems.
1. The timer on the table is playing up
and
2. Broccoli on pizza?????
Sorry for the repeat, we must have posted at the same time.

John, your 2 comments were exactly what I heard from my team last week. Once is just bad luck, twice is careless.

A good night for the Dyke B away to the Brewery Tap The table was playing a bit tricky.
Game 1 Terry Molloy with the highest opening break all night of 2700. The game then got scrappy before Gareth settled nicely to take the first leg against the break.
Game 2. Richard off cheaply then he and Terry Race had a couple of goes before Terry killed the game.
Game 3. Terry Coghlan and Chris Reeves had a couple of goes each before Terry ran out the winner.
Game 4. Marcus again off cheaply and like the other games it became scrappy. Micky Hall then settled to take the game and the match for the Dyke
Game 5. I took the black peg out with my first one up but Nigel failed to capitalised. What then followed was probably the worst game of the night but I came through to notch my first win for the Team.
Final Score
Preston Brewery Tap 1-4 Dyke B

Dyke `A` 2 Three Horseshoes 3
I think this is the first time we have beaten Colin & co on their table.
Tupps 2,430 Kt 14,460 - It always takes me at least a couple of splits on this top to get the pace right and last night was the same, but i managed to stay on and touch up at 10k. 0 - 1
Mick W. 2,410 BB Reaper 10,550 - Excellent 6k opener from Kev. Mick did get them back but couldnt settle. Kev made another break near the end. 0 - 2
Colin 7,100 Geoff 4,370 - Geoff was off on about 1,800. Colin had a couple of breaks to set up a 4k lead. Geoff got them back again and had time but came off 2k short. 1 - 2
Dave R. 6,990 Mal 2,340 - Dave said he would be a bit rusty and that he was, missing his first split. Mal got them back but thinned his one-up. Dave then set up a lead but Mal still had time, only for him to whip a split. 2 - 2
Kev S. 270 Ian 11,560 - The last two seasons have seen us lose the decider in this fixture. Not tonight though as Ian kicked off with 10k for a very good result, especially with the Tap losing at home :o
