Got man flu, and will struggle just to get there. Don,t think Girliefosters will be up to much, as he obviously started drinking at lunchtime today. Like the fact people are verbally warming up for match night. My prediction is whoever draws the Special one will win in a canter, that is if I make it to the game. Good luck to Bob tonight in his game against the break and BBW.

You've got BBW on the run from the sound of it. ;)
But, Special One, time to get the act together as you may not get a better chance. Remembering all that wingeing about if I had played that extra game last year instead of being away, and won, which I would have done because it was on my home table, it would have been me collecting the best performance and not Steve King etc etc ;D

Shame on you Tommo. Was not wingeing, actually said I was fine with it all. Just trying to point out that a re-aranged match can have unsean consequences for everyone in the league, not just the two teams involved. Not worried about best performance, just want to finish in front of thegirleone

And you got to put the message across again about re-arranged matches. I have to miss one in the New Year as I've got tickets for Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen (at the Capitol, Horsham). But I wouldn't have the temerity to try and postpone a match on the basis of just me being missing.

Still bravely fighting the 'man flu'. Was told to drink plenty of fluids, which I did last night. Will let you all know tomorrow how the fight is going. May the force be with me. TSO

Made it through the night, and I am being a brave little soldier. However the Man flu is getting worse and I am returning to my bed to watch test cricket. TSO

Gone to work and left me to look after myself, and left me a list of jobs to do. She's having a laugh.

I'd watch the size of your average Dave, some people might start to get a bit jealous.... ;) Yes it's certainly getting a bit samey when performance lists are published regularly and Dave's always at the top. ;D ;D ;D So after much research I've found some rival performances of the week by Mid Sussex bar billiards players in other sports: Opened page 59 of this week's Middy, and three names jumped out at me: - John Staplehurst (Ditchling) for table tennis;
- Dilly Williamson (Hassocks Blues) overall third in League (30pts) at angling;
- Norman Cragg won H/Heath Lindfield Shield (angling again) with a catch of 12lbs 2 oz - which included a seven and a half lbs carp.
:P :P :P
