I thought that I would start this thread to give everybody a good laugh about all those "little" things that go wrong at this time of year..... ::)
A couple of weeks ago I ordered quite a few things online (for my better half) from a company that I have used for many years.
They usually deliver everything within 3 days, so when it hadn't arrived at the beginning of last week I started to try to find out where the parcel was....... ???
Everything seemed okay then, the order had been dispatched and was shown as being with the couriers awaiting delivery. ;D
But, it hadn't arrived by the end of last week....... :-/
Still no sign of it on Monday........ :-/
Still nothing on Tuesday...... :( :'(
So, I checked online again, goods still shown as dispatched. I rang the Company, they told me that they would check with the couriers and ring me back. :) But, they didn't ring back. >:(
I rang them again yesterday morning...... was told that goods would be delivered in the afternoon! 8-)
By now, you can probably guess that they weren't....... ::) >:(
I managed to find out who the Courier Company was this morning, rang them to be told that they had never been given the parcel to be delivered......... :o :o
I rang the Company straight after....... who advised "very sorry, for some reason your parcel is still awaiting collection by the courier in our dispatch department, it's been waiting there since 16th December. We won't be able to deliver it now until early January" :o :o >:( >:( >:(
Needless to say, I told them where they could put the parcel. :P :P
So, I am now off to do the "manly" thing and charge off to the shops in a last minute attempt to save Christmas.....!! ;D
