Romans 2 - 3 Montreal
All games going with the break.
P Alyemore BP - 2570 M Barsby T Stapleton 4780 - 2270 S Burns D Nicholls 2170 - 2970 G Mechan P Pitfield 2850 - 1940 M Scott D Roberts 2030 - 4320 B Mechan
The first game was very close with Pete needing the 200 to win but after about 15 goes each Pete finally felled the black.
In the last Bob was struggling for a long time after only scoring 100 off his opening break but then managed to get going a little to secure the win for the Mont.
Great night and lots of banter between the 2 teams. Always a pleasure to play the Romans.

Stadium D 2 - 3 Wellie B
An interesting (if that is the right word for it) table that led to some awful play by some of us.
Spencer 2290 - Mark 3470 Tony BP - Nick 1930 Tony needed the 200 to win. Keith 2960 - Garry 610 Pete M 4170 - Reg 990 Petes 2k+ break to start was one of the best of the evening Vince 700 - Tim 3930
It is such a shame that the pub cann ot get more people in. It only appears to have people in for Bar Billiards.

Three Horseshoes 5 Dyke `B` 0
Very good win for the leaders against a 4 man Dyke side, Mick Hall was stuck in France somewhere. None of my subs were available last night, so Chris Lawman made his Brighton debut.
Mr Reaper 9,740 v Terry Molloy 1,260 - As is normally the case, Mr Molloy on first (usually against me), but this time the other Kev. Terry broke down on his second one up. After a couple of visits, Kev made a winning break.
Geoff 8,670 v Terry Race 2,340 - In form Jukesy made about 8,300 in his opener against Racey.
Ian 8,630 v Terry Coughlan 3,580 - Terry kicked off with 2k. Ian replied with 5k. Terry got another 1500 before Ian finished off.
Lolly 13,410 v Doug Dawson 220 - Good opener from Chris, putting the point beyond Doug. He added some more for good measure.
Kt W/O
After Kev shot off to the Hurst club to help his brother out, we were left with 8 players to eat enough food for about 20 :o All those onion rings, yummie :P
