Handcross Z v Hurst A The revitalised champions are on a great run which has taken them up to 3rd place and will be looking for another win to close the gap on the leaders. If Hurst can raise a full team this week (especially with a visiting superstar of 2!) then it could be a close match..... but I'm going for a home win here. ;)
Greyhound v Eight Bells With home advantage and a tremendous run of victories behind them, the 'hounds will be looking to knock 8 Bells out of the struggling visitors...... another home win here I think.... :'(
Plough v Watermill B The premier leaders will be looking for another win here, with the B's still looking to recover from the mauling that their A Team gave them last week...... yet another home win here I think. ;)
CKRBL v Brewers Royals The Kleiners have hit some form since the start of the new year and must be favorites against the Royals who are still looking for their first win of the season....... but I don't think that they will get it here and I predict (yet another!) home win here! ;)
Hurst B v White Horse Hurst B will be hopeful of a good win here against a White Horse team that usually struggle with the faster table..... another home win I think, but maybe a close one if the draw is kind to the Horse. ;)
Brewers Droops v USC A kind draw could give an upset here, but the Droops are tough to beat on their home top and have the experience to win this match I think. ;)
Laughing Fish v Brewers Bravos A match that could bring the 2 "young guns" into battle...... H fresh from his great score at Hurst Club and XPTG who will be looking to bounce back from a rare defeat last week. Much will depend on the draw, but I think that home advantage could just give the Fish a home win. ;)
Watermill A v St Francis The A Team won the first match at Saints on the decider and this will be another close encounter I'm sure. Since then the A Team have had a great run, but a good draw could give them a rare defeat here...... I'm going for an away win on this one - but only just! :o

Eight Bells!! :o :-X Sorry to see you are still struggling for a full team Bobhall..... I know that the "superstars" have matches elsewhere, but what has happened to Andy - has he decided to retire after beating me a few weeks ago?? :o ;D ;D Joking aside, it seems a shame that some teams have people who turn up most weeks but only get the occasional game, while other teams play short. :'( We have now lost one of our players for the rest of this season as they have decided to play in another League for a team that were also struggling for players...... ::)

I think Kev would have made the effort to race back for the last one tonight - but for the roads still being a little dangerous.
There's a question mark over one of my players tonight, so there's a possibility that margo might play.

There's a question mark over one of my players tonight, so there's a possibility that margo might play. It must be very hard trying to play in 2 different Leagues on the same night...... as the only way to do that is play early in one and late in the other, which potentially could cause problems with opposition who could believe it is being done for tactical reasons rather than just to ensure having a full team. ::) Hope Margo keeps up her 100% record if she plays tonight.....!! 8-)

I am afraid i wont be turning up tonight :( Sir Kt said he would play me 1st or 2nd to help Hurst out but after speaking to Bobhall after work, He said not to worry about it, as it is a long way to travel and i wouldn't be getting there much before 10pm. So Hurst 'A' will ONLY have 3 winning players with them tonight. ;) 8-) ;D :P

So Hurst 'A' will ONLY have 3 winning players with them tonight. ;) 8-) ;D :P Which is more winning players than at least half of the teams will have tonight...... including us, if the Greyhound keep up their run of victories! ::) ;D ;D Possibly the League should consider introducing the "4 Player Rule" that seems to work in some other Leagues to help out teams who are struggling for players? In the meantime, all credit to Bobhall and the Hurst A team for playing the matches on the scheduled nights rather than switching them to another evening when they would be able to get a full team....... well done guys! 8-) ;D ;D

Hope Colleen gets great enjoyment and success from her new adventure. It's more of a return than a new adventure as she played in West Sussex for several years. Another win for her tonight, against the break this time so that's 2 out of 2 so far! 8-) ;D ;D

Plough v Watermill B The premier leaders will be looking for another win here, with the B's still looking to recover from the mauling that their A Team gave them last week...... yet another home win here I think. ;) Well, no-one saw this one coming..............3-2 to the Watermill 'B' who carry on where they left off last year as benefactors to the Zeds. 8-) By my calculations, 0.5pt now covers the top three (Plough, Greyhound, Zeds). Well done especially to Adie, Toby/Muffin and the Flying Dutchman. 8-) 8-) 8-) but commiserations to the Plough, no doubt still on a learning curve with their new table. :-/

[glow=red,2,300]Well done Collagen Parks!!!!![/glow] 8-) 8-) ;D ;D Thank you SirJockstrap, but would you mind awfully if i ask you to remove the 's' from Park ? please, TA x anyway, yes, i'm having a great time being back in a league where i started from 9 years ago.(tho not the same team). I am really lucky to have a home table i fell in lust with (yes i know, only 2k this week but it's now settled after a new clothing), i also have a very supportive captain (TTO) and team which goes a long way to having a good start ! We have a good laugh every week (yes, i know we've only had 2 games but it's that kind of team), i look forward to going each week - 80 mile round trip it may be, but i've had lovely hugs and welcomes from team and opposition alike (including woolie pinks opposition cos they are old friends too !!) and i only wish that it was closer !! I WILL NOT cast aspersions on mid-sussex as i did enjoy playing over here and am playing a couple when Ros and Trevor are away, but in my defence for my decision - I was not happy with so many things that happened and did not want to play anymore as i just got more upset and tearful (very girlie i know) and was getting to the stage that i was contemplating not going out at all. I have a lot to thank BBWARRIOR for too - he supported my decision - even though i've now become a 'dirty stop-out' (i'm actually very clean but a stop-out nonetheless), and if it wasn't for the conversations (some very heated) that we have had, i would be a total wreck right now so THANK YOU DAVID xx :-* :-* Thank you for your nice comments and well done's - it means a lot to me as i have very little confidence as a player.
