Good game at Duke of Wellington.
Steve Aylmore opened with 4380 :) ???, H got them straight back and played table out for 11400. 8-) 11400-4380 1-0.
Tupps opened with 7570 :) :), Rick C got balls back off quickly at 600 :'(. Rick first back in going well missed split off at 2.k :-X. Tupps then added another 5.5k :D. 13070-3010. 2-0.
Tj opened with 10100 and touched ;). Pete B couldn`t clear at top off with 470 ???. Tj added another 7k+ playing table out ;D 8-). 17770-470 2-1.
Chris R never really settled and off at 5.5k :o :o. Terry M not at his best and failed to capitalise :-/. Both players then struggled :-[. 6820-1440 3-1.
Bill K off with 500 ???, Reggie pegged his opener :'(. Bill first to get them back made sure with 6k break :). 360-6900 2-3.

Three Horseshoes B 4 Windmill 1
Barry Squires 3,930 - 8,470 Charlie Cooper Chris Lucas 5,020 - 2,820 Dave Ingram Dave Jones 3,910 - 2,670 Alan Messer Adam Squires 3,100 - 900 Mick Pope Dave Millard 3,620 - BP Gina Sherratt
A disappointing result for us, after Charlie had started the evening with a well worked 8k break, our performances went downhill after that....... :(
Well played the 'Shoes B who battled hard for their wins and kept more of their scores than we did. ::)
A special congratulations to Dave Millard for his first win of the season, he fought hard to get the break back towards the end of the game and managed to keep it going until the bar dropped leaving an unlucky Gina needing the 200 to win....... :'(
Chicken, Chips, Onion Rings & Sarnies to finish....... :)

Indeed well done to Dave Millard on first win of season, been a tough time coming back to the game aftre a substantial break, and good to see his perseverence and loyalty to the Shoes B has been commendable.

Marquis `A` 1 Three Horseshoes `A` 4
Shoes keep up the pressure on the Stadium with a good win at the Marquis.
Chris R. 3,040 v Mr Reaper 5,280 - Kev was on and off the table in the first 6 minutes. Chris then built a nice 2,700 break but Kev finished off with enough. 0 - 1
Mama Hall 5,100 v Lolly 7,860 - Lorraine opened up with a great 5k break, only to see Chris come back with 7k. 0 - 2
Jean 4,280 v Bigjimsilverfox 3,680 - Scrappy game this one with both players on and off the break. Jean had her nose in front at the right time though. 1 - 2
Ch.Monk. other half 4,030 v Kt 8,220 - Sandra left both balls up at the start but I didn`t capitalise. Sandra then built up a 2,800 lead. I got them back next visit and touched on at 8k. 1 - 3
Sheena 4,020 v Chocie 6,350 - Stu opened with 3,700. Sheena came back with 4k, but Stu then added another couple 1 - 4
I hear the Stadium were lucky ;) ;D

I didn't think the Stadium were lucky. It was a close fought match, with chances swinging either way. The very last break won the match. An excellent match.

Prehaps the memory of how to play is still in the dark recesses of the old grey matter.
