Mick Pope 4,640 - 1,970 Sandra Race Charlie Cooper 4,090 - 5,800 Jean Brackenridge Dave Ingram 7,560 - 900 Lorraine Hall Gina Sherratt 7,300 - 320 Sheena Wood Alan Messer 3,720 - 2,800 Chris Richards
Very enjoyable evening with the ladies, highlights being a very good 5k+ break from Jean to win her game from Charlie and an excellent 7k opening break from Gina to win the match. 8-)
Lovely to see Harry & Gill Barbet at the pub tonight, both over for the Bournemouth pairs this weekend..... ;)

Horseshoes A 2 - Stadium 3
Kev Hall 480 - 6440 Geoff Jukes Geoff opened with a 4500 break, but then the balls remained down the bottom with little hope of retrieval by both players. Jim Greenstead 3860 - 4320 Tony Lewis Closest of mathces, with both guys having many chances to take the leg. Chris Lawman 760 - 7080 Grant Tully. Grant opened with a couple, I got the balls back but whipped one out of the 100 and pinned. Lots of play at the back of the board until Grant got them back and made a 5K break. Rick Dewdney 9340 - 5660 Martin Smith Rick proved to us that the table was ok with an opening break of 9340, Martin played out the rest of the time. Stu Mepham 630 - 110 Mark James Mark was gunning for the highest away break and looked on course until going to the back of the board. He missed a ball behind the left 30 while on 11500 break.
A good evening all round, nice food, and good company.

Marquis B 3 Three Horseshoes B 2
A close match which gave Three Horseshoes B hope of survival.
Nick Brown v Chris Lucas Nick was always in control of this game 1-0
Paul Barnett v Barry Squires Again Barney in control of affairs losing 2 big breaks of over 5k but still did enough to beat Barry 2-0
Tony Burgess v Myself. Off quite cheaply but managed to stay in front of Tony but Tony was catching me in the end. 2-1
Neil Higgins v Adam Squires A super display of controlled bar billiards from Adam. Once again Neil was chatching Adam when the bar went 2 mins short. 2-2
Gary Ridley v Dave Millard Gary also in front even though Dave was playing some super bar billiards and at last we are seeing what a great player he was and will be next season. 3-2
Marquis B Three Horseshoes B N Brown 6140 1400 C Lucas P Barnett 2160 1170 B Squires T Burgess 1700 2110 D Jones N Higgins 3090 4370 A Squires G Ridley 6950 3380 D Millard 3 2 Total Score 20040 12430 Average per man 4008 2486

Schooner A 2 Swan A 3
T ( how many chances) J 4630 6690 Dave (is that on the D) France Rick ( I remember how to play on Thursday) C 6040 3800 Chris (Mr Cool) Scott Terry (the rads gone off) Molloy 820 8160 Vern ( thanks Terry) Blake Steve ( is this retirement) Aylmore 4600 2500 John ( never changes) Hayward Bill ("I was xxxx") Kerr 100 9010 Terry (take the opportunity) Denyer.
Good evening plenty of banter and result that keeps the Swan at the top of Div One. Plenty of chances fro the three against the break players for the Schooner but one of those nights, well infact one of those seasons.
