Now back from Bournemouth for a few days and yet, although everyone seems to congratulate everyone else on run-of-the-mill birthdays, nobody has yet congratulated Bernie McCluskey on his recent engagement.
Bernie is a god is the bar billiards world, having won the All-England Individuals about 4 times (I think) as well as the BIOC in Jersey and many British Open Pairs titles, and should be sincerely congratulated by all, especially if they were not at Bournemouth and have not yet been told about the news.
P S I got engaged on Feb 14th too. But Iam NOT a god.

In Bournemouth, we did indeed congratulate Bernie and Chris on their engagement. Unfortunately, we neglected to congratulate you Pete for which we apologise. :-[ My excuse is that I was in awe at having a strong rival for Karaoke - what a voice! (Not you Pete ::)) I think your engagement is fantastic news and would like to congratulate you both. H
