Entries are invited for this years Watney Mann Team Competition, with the winners going on to represent Sussex in the All England Team Competition later this year.
A brief reminder of the Format & Rules for this Competition....
These ties are 2-leg matches, home & away, with the first-named team to be at home in leg 1. Order of players is drawn at random, the home team takes the break in legs 1 & 4, the away team breaks in legs 2, 3 & 5. Games are not even break.
In the event of a 5-5 aggregate result, a tie-breaker will take place immediately. This will be between 1 nominated player from each side (tie-break players MUST be nominated prior to the draw for order of play at the start of the 2nd leg match). The tie-break game will be even break, equal opportunity, and the visiting player will take first break.
Hopefully, Entry Forms will be on the Sussex Website soon and should be returned to Tony Jenner by 30th April 2009, although entries through the Forum are acceptable.
The draw will take place early in May 2009 with a view to matches starting to be played shortly after the end of the current League season.
