POW 1 - Brewery Tap 4 A good night at the new and slightly small venue. The Tap team were full of banter as usual and proved a good team to start against. The result could been the other way round with 4 close games (not mine of course). Here are the scores:- J.Perrin 1280 v D.Davis 4570 T.Barnes 420 v J.Jones 600 J.Snape B/P v R.McGuiness 1130 J.Woodall 2030 v P.Reay 1010 A.Barnes B/P v M.Knight 1090 The Tap were honoured to be the very first opponents at the new venue and walking away with a 4-1 victory, excellent pub and very well looked after by Tracey Barnes the landlord of the Prince of Wales. For those that don't know it is right on the corner of Churchill Square close to WH Smith, quite a small room to play in but the pub is certainly worth visiting. Agree with Reggie's comments about the matches and we look forward to the re-match in a few weeks time. Thanks to all who made us very welcome.

My internet has been down hence why a bit quiet, The match at the Albion was indeed another great evening, third in a matter of days. If summer league played in same spirits throughout we can look forward to plenty of banter, some decent bar billiards and some suprise results.

Good to hear from you Keith, feel free to post results on here, the forum is very useful for me to keep up with the results and to let you guys know the latest standings. The handicaps are based on player averages so hopefully if everyone plays as well or as badly as during the season we should get some close matches. It has seemed to work well in the past.
