Can teams submit to me their entries to the Summer League.
Looking to start mid to late June, the league is handicapped and open to all teams (old or new) in Brighton. I will consider teams outside the league, but priority will go to Brighton teams and it will depend on numbers.

Unfortunately the Wellie B will not be entering a team this year due to not having enough "certain to play" players.
I'm fairly sure that the Wellie A will be entering.

This is really promising for the brighton league, with 3 new teams entering that weren't there last season.

Hi Nige as there is an odd number again, we`ll put a team in from the Shoes. Bit of a mixture with some of the new lads in Worthing along with Hayley, Ian, Lolly & myself.

First fixtures for 17th June
Group A Romans v Bib & Tucker Atlas D v Atlas A Prince of Wales v Brewery Tap
Group B Duke of Wellington v Windmill Three Horseshoes v Montreal Albion v Schooner
I will be contacting captains to get all fixtures details and handicaps to them in the next few days. But if people see their fixture on here and let their captains know in the meantime where they are Wednesday to give them time to get their teams ready that would be very helpful.
Please let me know on here if there are any problems

Three Horseshoes 5 Montreal 0
The result doesn`t really tell the story of the match really. The Mont boys had absolutely no luck up the top of the table. Newcomers Ben, Lorenzo & Pete all kept scores when it mattered. Stu played a corker in the first and Lady H played well in the last to frustrate Racehorse.
Chocie 8,950 v 3,980 Mick Barsby Loz Hickman 4,530 v 1,660 Gooner Burns Pete Hickman 3,610 v 480 Bob Mechan (B/Pegged) Ben Goodwin 3,870 v Trev Hocking 0 (B/Pegged) Lady H 6,290 v Racehorse 3,230
Luvly bowl of Chilli, Chips & Garlic bread to follow

POW 1 - Brewery Tap 4
A good night at the new and slightly small venue. The Tap team were full of banter as usual and proved a good team to start against.
The result could been the other way round with 4 close games (not mine of course).
