There are still plenty of spaces left in this competition so please get your entries in if I haven`t received them already.
I am also now going to invite our neighbouring leagues if they would like to join in our celebration.
Remember, it is the first 96 players who will get in :)

Hi everyone if you read the local rag the other day it will say that this is our Silver anniversary celebration tomorrow. I can assure you that it is 50 years . Start time will be 12pm so please be there by 11.30 for registration. If you haven`t already entered, why not? It`s all for the league and £2 entry won`t break the bank. Come along to the Ball Tree and have some fun
See you there ;) ;D

Dear All
We had great fun at the Ball Tree yesterday in this event. Whilst we all tried, it was a very friendly game
We were made so welcome, great atmoshere and very helpful bar staff. Such a well run day thanks Jean and Kev.
I have to say that the cherry on the cake was Gina's sister from Australia, never having picked up a cue before who was in our team, what a STAR ;D ;D with that outstanding 100 last ball shot that won the leg !!!
Can't wait to be invited back next year.... hint ... hint :) ;)

An excellent event held in a nice pub, well organised and thoroughly enjoyable.
Maximum 3k breaks was a great idea to keep it all friendly, and anyone who black-pegged or scored more than 10k over the two frames received a fine ! 8-)
Thanks for the invite, good to be amongst friends, and well done to the winners. 8-)

Thanks Chris & Kev, we enjoyed the day also. Well done to Gina, Stu & Kev on their victory beating Bella, Mal & Adam Sq. in the final. A massive thanks must go to the Ball Tree who were excellent hosts, to Jean who sorted out my mistakes on the admin desk and to AM Trophies for again sponsoring the prizes and also Hayley :-* for formatting the forms for the day. I mustn`t forget also that Rod Tarratt generously sponsored two of the three tables we hired. Shame he couldn`t make it.
There is always a down side to everything and it has to be said how poorly Worthing was represented. There are some of you that had genuine excuses, work, family etc. But to only have 30 registered Worthing players turn up on the day was a disgrace :-X. We have currently 17 teams in Worthing and only 10 were represented We even had people coming from as far as Portsmouth, Redhill & Mid Sussex wanting to celebrate our 50th anniversary year.
If we run this competition annually, perhaps a few more of you will turn up next year :-[ ;)
Has anyone found my cue yet ??? :P

Rowlf was my favourite. Mark Knopfler then 'borrowed' his singing style.
Hayley you forgot to add the word "Muppet". Appropriate in my case. ::)
