Three Horseshoes A 4 Swan B 1
Excellent result for the Shoes, avenging their Watney Mann final defeat recently, but it was a sad night :'( as Geoff the landlord told me they (Enterprise brewery) would be closing the pub down within the next 3 weeks, so next week`s games could be the last. :'( :'( Geoff has been trying to sell the place for at least two years (with no takers) and the Brewery obviously had their eyes set on the plot for developing. >:( :-X I`d like to thank Geoff & Sandra for being absolutely brilliant publicans and the Shoes has been a fab venue as well. ;D :'( Let`s hope we can find somewhere as good, i`ve started looking already ;) :P
Sir kt 10,150 v 2,870 Dipper - Roger was off on under 2k and i got them back to make about 4k only to under hit a split and leave them both up. I got them back first and made the game safe with another 5k 1 - 0
Lolly 13,550 v 770 Doug - Great opening break for Chris giving Doug no chance. 2 - 0
Chocie 9,060 v 3,530 Brian R. - Brian was off on 2k and Stu made two good breaks for the win. 3 - 0
Mr Reaper 8,590 v 3,310 Barry H. - Didn`t see how many Kev opened with as i was trying to sort a problem out at another pub ::) 4 - 0
Ricky 3,470 v 8,760 Matthew S. - Matt opened with 2k and then added another steady 6k. Ricky finished off with a rapid 3k 4 - 1

Olde House at Home 3 2 Duke of Wellington
Excellent result for the home team last night, even the inclusion of a World Championship semi-finalist not enough for the Duke to win. ;D
Neilh 2700 - 11820 Chris Reeves - Chris opened with 5kish but left a one-up short. Neil retrieved break but messed up a 50-10 split on 2k. Chris had 2 further breaks to Neil's none.
Nick 11150 - 1600 Chris Tupper - Impressive 10k opener and touch from Nick.
Tony 3060 - 1720 Mal Spier - Mal never got to grips with the various nuances of the table. ;) Tony had the break back several times without making any significant scores, although enough to take the important win.
Barney 8990 - 1750 Nigel Senior - Paul opened with 5k and when Nigel retrieved the balls at first visit it looked ominous, however he was off quickly. A bit of ball-chasing then Paul added a further 3.5k.
Gary 1480 - 8880 Richard Wooton - Richard opened with 5k and pegged them. Gary not able to capitalise and Richard killed the game with a nice 8k break. Gary eventually had time for a little 1k break at the end.
Olde House continue their good early season form; 4 out of 5 now, including beating 2 Premier sides.

West Tarring 1 Balltree 4
Good night with lots of friendly banter. Havent got scores but wins for Sheena Chris Sandra and Debbie
Shot of the night goes to Chris. Checked the scores and needed to keep red ball up to go for the 400. Reds just to the right of the 10 hole. Not easy to keep up so Chris hit it hard hoping. White went down the 30 hole red came flying back straght down the 200. Who said you had to keep the red ball up lol
Thanks again to the west tarring for a fun night

Atlas 4 - 1 Schooner
Much debate amongst the home team about how the table was playing, your reporter is unable to offer a first-hand opinion, as I had a watching brief.
Certainly each of the first 3 games could have gone either way, for the home team only Geoff displayed the sort of performance one might have anticipated.
Scant details, I'm afraid, but in order:
Ian Lelliott bt Steve Aylmore Grant Tully bt Rick Cunningham Martin Smith bt Terry Molloy Geoff Jukes (10k & touch) bt Dave Anscombe Tony Lewis lost to Tony Jenner.
